NWK Financing has proven specialists in the field of hire-purchase
financing, insurance, grain accounts, sundry accounts and other services
like debtor negotiations, risk management and consolidations.
The division’s popular product range for producers involves the following

• Other products, e.g. for animal production, fertiliser, lime, medium-term

The manufacturing of animal feed and maize and wheat products, extraction
of vegetable oils from sunflower seed, the running of poultry farming
activities and commercial transport of various commodities constitute the

Milling operation
With a future vision of ensuring zealously that the people of South Africa are fed with
the best quality grain products, Empangeni Milling Noordfed operates a modern
maize and wheat mill in Lichtenburg. Located in the heart of North West’s white-
maize area, which is known for high-quality maize, the mill’s existing local client base
is supplemented by an established market share in KwaZulu-Natal. Consumers of
brands like 10/10, Super Goal, HayDay and Fat Fowl chicken feed can therefore be
assured of the best quality products.
Manufacturing of animal feed
Opti Feeds, a wholly owned subsidiary of NWK, manufactures and sells an extensive
range of scientifically formulated animal feed products from the plant in Lichtenburg.
A competent technical support team that makes professional recommendations for
optimum results provides support to clients at farm level. Products include feed for cattle,
sheep, pigs, chickens, ostriches and horses. Opti Feeds also markets a range for game.
